August ’18 OwlCrate Unboxing

Hi there!

It is the last day of August and it is fitting to do this months OwlCrate Unboxing post, themed Ruthless Royals.

First up we have a pocket mirror, inspired by The Belles and designed by Catarina Book Designs.

The gemstone ring was made by GeoCentral, out of genuine agate stone. I will be honest, I don’t like it at all, it is big, impractical and not that pretty in my opinion. I will most likely try and give it away…

The next item is an exclusive book tin designed by Stella Bookish Art, inspired by The Cruel Prince. It will be perfect to store little bookish items in.

Another item included in this month’s box is a tea towel from Little Inklings Design, inspired by the Throne of Glass series. Whoever was responsible for packaging this particular item has done a horrible job, the tag goes straight through the middle of the towel and it leaves holes behind in the fabric when you cut the tag off. Not only that, the tag itself goes through the print more than once, leaving multiple holes. Disaster…

Last but not least, I received magnetic bookmarks depicting villainous queens, created by Craftedvan. They’re super small but cute.

The book in this month’s box is exclusive copy of Grace and Fury, signed by the author Tracy Banghart. Owlcrate also included letter and an exclusive bookmark.

Serina has been training to become a Grace, someone who will stand with the heir to throne as an example of the perfect woman. Her sister Nomi works as her handmaiden, although she dreams of much more. Their entire lives are thrown upside down when Nomi ends up being a Grace, while Serina is banished to a prison due to a secret Nomi is hiding. Both are desperate to save one another but they are running out of time.

So that’s it for August OwlCrate box. I am very disappointed with it, I think it is safe to say it is one of their worst in my opinion. OwlCrate has been falling down in my eyes for some time now and I plan on doing a post about it really soon.

So stay tuned for that, and until next time, Dream On, Dreamers!
