Hey lovelies, it’s Friday! And what better way to start off your weekend than to talk about books and coffee ❤ So I decided to do the Coffee&Books hashtag and here it is:
-Espresso (current read): “A Million Worlds With You” by Claudia Gray, the third and final instalment of the Firebird series in which we follow Marguerite on her journeys through multiple dimensions.
-Cappuccino (romantic read): “The fault in our stars” by John Green comes to mind. It is such a beautiful and heartwarming story, which I plan to reread by the end of this year.
-Latte (slow read): “The Hazel Wood” by Melissa Albert, I really didn’t enjoy this book, I had so much trouble finishing it off.
-Frape (book you finished reading in one day): Most recently, it was “Shatter Me” by Tahereh Mafi. I loved the beginning of Juliette’s story so much and the unique writing style was phenomenal.
-Macchiato (a book who’s hero you fell in love with): So, so many, it is hard to pick the favourite one, so I will just go with the latest one. Levi from the “Ace of Shades” by Amanda Foody. He was a perfectly imperfect character, rouge but innocent at the same time.
-Irish Coffee (surprising read): “Bit Grim, Isn’t It?: A Short Story Collection” by Christopher Galvin was my most surprising read this year thus far. I enjoyed it so much more I expected I will, I’m usually not a fan of short stories but his ones had a way to evoke many emotions in a very short space of time!
That’s everything for today. Let me know your answers to this hashtag in the comment section below!
Until next time, Dream On, Dreamers! 🙂
