With 2019 now gone, the best thing to do right now is to learn the lessons, bag it all up and make room for 2020.

2019 has been a rollercoaster of a year, both personally and professionally.
I have not reached my reading goal (45 books). I have stopped short at 37 and I feel as if I have cheated it a little.

Not in a literal sense mind you!
2019 was a year I have found my love for comic books and those rather short reads have been a high contributor to my reading goal. Preacher, Skyward and especially Saga have been amazing reads that have had a massive impact on me but the fact remains that they are not fully fledged novels of any sort.
My reading has suffered in 2019, however towards the latter half of it, I feel like my Instagram has been thriving creatively. I have improved on the quality of the pictures as well as their imagery. They’re far more creative and I learned how to use them to tell a tale. It was extremely enjoyable to think outside of the box and come up with something new each time. Hopefully, this trend will continue onto next year!

For 2020, I have set my reading goal at 50 books. I am not discouraged by my 2019 results but rather, I remain hopeful. Throughout the years, the amount of reading I have done has been steadily increasing and I hope it will stay that way in this new year. Comic books will continue to be a big part of my life and I hope the higher reading goal will account for that.

I wish you all the best in 2020!!
