Hello and welcome to the first unboxing of OwlCrate of the year!
The theme of this box was “Vengeance will be mine”.
The first item is a Harry Potter inspired ceramic mug. It is another one in a ongoing series from artist Cara Kozik.

The second item are exclusive socks. The art is inspired by collector’s edition of Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo and it was created by Out of Print.

The next item was designed by Team OwlCrate and it is a pocket mirror. It has a secret storage and it was inspired by Nevernight.

This month’s candle is inspired by Children of Blood and Bone, handmade by A Court of Candles. Five different scents were sent out and I received the fresh blueberry and ginger one!

New year means a new pin collection and with it, a pin banner. This particular one has been inspired by The Hobbit and was created by OwlCrate and In the Reads.

The first pin of 2020 is was created by Forensics and Flowers and it was inspired by this box’s book.

Scavenge the Stars by Tara Sim tells a story of Amaya who’s aboard a debtor ship when she rescues a stranger from drowning. The stranger offers her a chance to start over and seek revenge on the man who ruined her life but things go astray when she gets to know the man’s son. This novel is a retelling of the classic The Count of Monte Cristo. This particular unique cover edition is also signed by the author and includes a letter from her.

That is it for this month’s OwlCrate box, not too bad start to the new year!
