Paper Girls tells a story of four, 12 years old newspaper delivery girls who find themselves in an invasion by mysterious forces from the future, caught in a fight between two factions of time travellers.
I picked up Paper Girls simply because of Brian K. Vaughan. I loved his Saga series and because it is still on hiatus (what is that all about?!), I decided to check out his other works.
Paper Girls is set in Cleveland, Ohio in the 80’s. The introduction of the time travellers done in Volume 1 hasn’t been completed, it raised more questions than it answered, however it was done intelligently thus far.

I’ll be honest, it is a graphic novel that I had a hard time following the storyline, if you asked me to explain it, I simply wouldn’t be able to. I remain positive however, seeing as this is only volume 1 in an ongoing series.
I do have vol. 2 with me and I will jump right into that one.

Thank you for reading this review and until next time, dream on Dreamers!
