I still have no idea what’s in story for the Paper Girls but who cares, I’m in for the journey.
This volume did not clear things up as much as I hoped it would and remained just as chaotic, if not more so. For each question answered, more than one appeared to take its place. Despite all that, I enjoy the characters tremendously, all iterations of them, and it is a fun read, all in all. Brian K. Vaughan brings eccentric and unique people to life through his work once again. Relatable ones too.
I am stunned by the artwork in this series, in particular the use of colour has caught my eye, the blending is phenomenal.
The story is an engaging one despite the fact that the whole thing is still being set up and it has hooked me in enough to keep reading. Hopefully the clarity of the situation will come soon enough.
Thank you for reading this short review, hope you enjoyed it, let me know down in the comment section below!
