Irish weather and its unpredictability at the best of times can prove a discouragement, but if it doesn’t stop you from visiting Dublin in winter time, I’d highly recommend you check out ‘Wild Lights’ at Dublin Zoo.
It is a night time experience that runs annually from October till mid January.
Hundreds of lanterns light up throughout the zoo to present a story with regards to the theme of this years Wild Lights exhibition, with this years one (2022/2023 season) being ‘The Magic of Life’.
Bees and their beehive, aquatic flora and fauna and mesmerising ant colony are just but a few aspects of nature’s life depicted with the Chinese styled lanterns.
